Mary V. Hallihan, nee Moran, 86, of Park Ridge passed away peacefully on 6/26/22. Mary was born on December 19, 1935 in New York City, NY. After raising her seven living children, she spent time taking classes, working at the grammar school, and enjoyed reading, yoga, and tai chi. Beloved wife of the late Richard T. Hallihan. Loving mother of Mary Rose Hallihan-McConnell, Richard Jr., Aurelius, William (Hagar), Ann (David Jo), Patrick (Jen), Catherine (Jerry Vela) Hallihan, and the late Kevin and Joseph Hallihan. Proud grandmother of Katherine, John, Raven, Willem, Tyler, Matthew, Lia, and Lisa. Great grandmother of Maddie and Jack. Sister of the late William (Cecilia) Moran, Ann Moran, the late Michael (Carolyn) Moran, Kathleen (Chuck) Tully and Patrick (Jan) Moran. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 3-8 pm. Funeral Friday 9:30 am prayers at funeral home to St. Paul of the Cross where Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.
