Frank Capotosto left this world peacefully at the age of 101 on April 13th, 2021 at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago. 
A World War II Army veteran and member of the "greatest generation". Frank was born on August 23, 1919 in Chicago to Marco and Pauline ( D'Onofrio) Capotosto.

Frank took part in the 1944 World War Two Allied Invasion on Anzio Beachhead in Italy. Frank didn't talk about his days in the war. But, his family was very proud of him. After an honorable discharge, he went to work for the United States Postal Service  in Customer Relations and retired after a long and successful career.
  
Frank loved a good joke, dressing to the nines, playing cards, betting on the ponies, bringing goodies from the Italian bakery to family celebrations, and the Chicago Cubs. But most of all, he loved his family. He was a generous and devoted patriarch who donated his time and money to make sure everyone was cared for and safe.

Frank is survived by his sister Eleanor and brother in-law Wally Minor, and many nieces and nephews who loved him
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Angie, Rae, Mari, and Dolores, brother Mike, and three nephews.
